de Bruin Engineering has an extensive range of equipment allowing for all facets of machining to be carried out in-house. The workshop is staffed by a team of skilled machinists and mechanical fitters to perform machining and refurbishment of equipment for industry supported by the following machines.

Doosan Puma 280LM

This piece of machinery is a high performance heavy duty turning centre. Mchine specifications include a 45 degree slant bed design, feed rates on 2 axis of 24,000mm/min and automatic tool changing performed by a heavy duty 12 station tool turned with a 200mm curve coupling.

This heavy duty design ensures rigidity for heavy stock removal, fine finishes, long boring bar overhauling ratios and extended tool life.

CNC Lathes

Two medium duty lathes capable of machining a range of materials up to 800mm in diameter and 3.1 metres in length.

Machining Centre

The Eumach FBE3000 Universal Machining Centre offers a machining capacity of up to 3 metres long, 1.5 metres high and 1 metre wide in a single setup. Additional ability to carry and machine any job up to a capacity of 8000kg. This is a universal type machine, which allows the use of up to five axis machining, built to handle heavy machining operations and produce great tolerances and finishes to suit any requirement.

Equipped with the latest CNC controller, programming and setup times are streamlined, with the capability of utilising CAD/CAM systems, de Bruin Engineering can produce products straight from drawings to finished product. Ideal for large machining services whether it be a new part or manufactured or repair of existing equipment, de Bruin Engineering has the capacity for machining.

A Eumach 4 Axis medium machining centre complements our CNC range of precision equipment and is ideal for spare parts manufacturing and one off machining jobs.

The above machines are supported by a Pratt & Whipney Keller M11 with a 3.0 metre x 1.8 metre milling area complete with boring capability, general purpose mills, slatter, radial drills and surface grinder.
